Heloisa Slav

Founder and Managing Partner of Slav Business and Law Consulting in Geneva, Switzerland, she has also founded and currently manages a Brazilian law firm specialized in structured trade finance transactions and business law. Heloisa is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo chapter, and Portuguese Bar Association, Lisboa chapter. She has also worked at well-known law firms and major Brazilian and multinational companies (such as Cargill and Coimex Trading) before establishing her firm in 2010, focusing on the areas of Corporate and Business Law, Foreign Trade, Structured Trade and Commodity Finance, Agribusiness.

For the past 20 years, Heloisa has advised various trade finance funds, investment and commercial banks and trading companies. She has also gathered extensive and multidisciplinary experience of drafting and negotiating contracts in general, providing legal advice in complex structured trade and commodity finance transactions, syndicated loans, securitization, refinancing and debt restructuring, project finance, structuring of joint ventures and assistance in credit and import/export commercial transactions and cross-border investment matters.

Heloisa has a Law Degree from Universidade Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil, and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), São Paulo, Brazil.

Daniel Cesar

Daniel is an associate at Slav Business and Law Consulting. He is also an attorney focused on Business and Corporate Law, with emphasis on Agribusiness and Commodity Export Financing Transactions. As a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo chapter, and with over 7 years of specialized legal practice, Daniel has assisted renowned multinational companies, banks and investment funds involved in transactions with Brazilian counterparties, drafting and negotiating various contracts and investment structures, coordinating due diligence procedures over Brazilian investees and establishing local subsidiaries for further development of our clients’ business.

Daniel has a Law Degree from Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil, and is currently obtaining a Postgraduate Specialization on Contracts Law from the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), São Paulo, Brazil.
